Overview
AP2005 is a current-mode DC-DC boost converter. The PWM circuit with a built-in 0.05Ω power MOSFET enables high conversion efficiency. The internal compensation circuit also reduces external component count by up to 6. The non-inverting input of the error amplifier is connected to a precise 0.6V reference voltage. The internal soft-start function reduces inrush current. The AP2005 is available in an SOP8-PP package, saving PCB space for the application.
