Overview
AP2900 is a high-efficiency synchronous buck regulator capable of delivering 0.7 A output current over a wide input voltage range of 6 V to 40 V. The output voltage is adjustable via a resistor divider connected to the FB pin, with a switching frequency of 100 kHz. AP2900 integrates low on-resistance high-side and low-side power MOSFETs, reducing conduction impedance while eliminating the need for an external Schottky diode. In addition, the built-in compensation architecture eliminates external RC compensation components, further reducing the external component count. As a result, AP2900 is ideal for applications requiring a minimal BOM and single-layer PCB layout. The specially designed EMI-optimized circuit architecture is well suited for applications requiring safety certification. Comprehensive protection features include overcurrent protection, over-temperature protection, short-circuit protection, and undervoltage lockout (UVLO). AP2900 is available in a SOT23-5L package for space-saving layout.
