Overview

CD5020A is a high-voltage PWM control IC capable of implementing most single-ended topology power output conversions. Voltage regulation is based on current-mode control, simplifying loop compensation design. The CD5020A integrates a high-voltage startup regulator supporting a wide input range up to 100V. This PWM IC is designed for high-speed oscillator operation, with a frequency range up to 1MHz and total propagation delay of less than 100ns. The IC also incorporates an error amplifier, high-precision reference, undervoltage protection, cycle-by-cycle overcurrent protection, slope compensation, soft-start, oscillator synchronization capability, and thermal protection.
