Overview

CJ74HC/HCT4051 is a single-pole eight-throw analog switch designed for analog or digital 8:1 multiplexer/demultiplexer applications. The switch features three digital select inputs, eight independent inputs/outputs, one common input/output, and one digital enable input. When the enable input is high, the switch turns off. The inputs incorporate clamp diodes, allowing current-limiting resistors to interface the inputs to voltages exceeding VCC.
