Overview
EA2224 is a high-efficiency single-inductor buck-boost converter capable of delivering up to 4A of load current. It automatically transitions between buck mode and boost mode. The EA2224 operates at 2.4MHz and can be synchronized to an external frequency between 2.2MHz and 2.6MHz. At light loads, the DC/DC converter operates in pulse-skipping mode. The power-saving mode can be disabled to force the EA2224 into forced PWM mode. The output voltage can be programmed via an external resistive voltage divider or internally fixed at 3.3V. During shutdown, the load is disconnected from VIN. The EA2224 is available in a TDFN3X4-14 package.
