Overview
The EA8210B is a 2.5A step-down regulator designed to operate over an input voltage range of 4.5V to 23V. The integrated high-side and low-side power MOSFETs with low on-resistance reduce external component count while achieving up to 96% efficiency, making it ideal for 2.5A output current applications. The EA8210B is designed for light-load operation, achieving 80% efficiency at an output load of 20mA. The EA8210B features comprehensive protection functions, including cycle-by-cycle current limiting, short-circuit protection, over-temperature protection, and UVLO protection. Internal compensation simplifies user application design and reduces external component costs. The EA8210B is available in a SOT23-6 package for ease of use.
