EA8275P8R

EA8275 is a synchronous buck converter using constant on-time (COT) control. The main control loop employs COT mode control, enabling fast transient response with low-ESR ceramic capacitors and requiring no external compensation components. At a 1.05V output voltage, the voltage drop during a 0 to 5A load transient is only 50mV. COT control operates in PWM mode under heavy load and PFM mode under light load, with seamless switching between the two modes, allowing EA8275 to maintain high efficiency under light-load conditions. EA8275 operates over an input voltage range of 4.5V to 18V. The output voltage is programmable from 0.765V to 6V. It features over-temperature protection, under-voltage protection, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, and short-circuit hiccup protection. EA8275 is available in an 8-pin ESOP8 package and is designed for an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
