Overview
ETA1652 is a wide input range, high efficiency, high frequency DC-DC buck switching regulator capable of delivering up to 2A output current. It adopts an adaptive constant on-time control scheme to achieve extremely fast transient response and provides very smooth transitions as the output load varies from light to heavy. Under light load conditions, ETA1652 enters pulse frequency modulation mode to reduce switching losses and maintain high efficiency. The adaptive constant on-time control also maintains a constant switching frequency across variations in input voltage and load. The overvoltage protection feature safeguards the IC itself and its downstream systems against input voltage surges. With this overvoltage protection capability, the IC can withstand input voltages up to 25V, making it an ideal solution for industrial applications.
