Overview
ETA3707/A/B is a high-efficiency DC-DC buck switching regulator with an ultra-low quiescent current of 360nA. The ETA3707 provides an output voltage of 1.2V to 3.3V with output current up to 1A. The ETA3707A provides an output voltage of 0.7V to 3.1V with output current up to 500mA. The ETA3707B provides an output voltage of 0.5V to 1.9V with output current up to 500mA. These devices employ an adaptive constant on-time control scheme for extremely fast transient response and very smooth transitions when the output load changes from light to heavy. Under light-load conditions, the device enters pulse frequency modulation mode to reduce switching losses, achieving high efficiency. The adaptive constant on-time control also maintains a constant switching frequency over varying input voltages and load conditions. An internal soft-start control circuit reduces inrush current. Overcurrent and overtemperature protection enhance design reliability. These devices are available in compact CSP-8 and DFN2x2-8 packages.
