Overview
EUP3284H is a synchronous current-mode buck regulator capable of driving 3A continuous load current with excellent line and load regulation. The device operates from an input voltage range of 4.5V to 30V, with output voltage adjustable from 0.92V to 20V via an external resistor divider. Protection features include cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown. In shutdown mode, the regulator draws only 3μA of supply current. Programmable soft-start minimizes inrush current and output voltage overshoot during startup. Automatic pulse-skip mode at light load improves efficiency.
