Overview
FR9203 is a synchronous step-down DC/DC converter. The device offers an input voltage range of 4.5V to 28V and a continuous load current capability of 1.2A. It is a constant on-time pulse width modulation (PWM) controller supporting FCOT mode control. The operating frequency depends on the input and output voltage conditions. FR9203 fault protection includes cycle-by-cycle current limiting, short-circuit protection, undervoltage lockout (UVLO), and thermal shutdown. The soft-start function prevents inrush current at power-up. FR9203 employs fast constant on-time control, delivering fast transient response, noise immunity, and compatibility with a wide variety of ultra-low ESR output capacitors for stable performance. FR9203 is available in a SOT-23-6 package with excellent thermal conductivity.
