FSW3820 is a high-speed bidirectional passive switch designed for multiplexer or demultiplexer configurations, supporting USB 3.1 Gen 1 data rates and suitable for USB Type-C applications. Depending on the state of the SEL control pin, the device switches differential channels between Port A or Port B and Port COM. FSW3820 is a general-purpose analog differential passive switch for any high-speed interface application requiring a common-mode voltage range of 0 to 2V with differential signal amplitudes up to 1800 mVₚ₋ₚ. It employs adaptive tracking technology to ensure consistent channel characteristics across the entire common-mode voltage range. The device's excellent dynamic performance enables high-speed switching with minimal eye diagram degradation and very low introduced jitter. Operating power consumption is below 2mW, with a shutdown mode enabled via the EN pin that reduces power consumption to below 20μW.
