Overview

FSW6820 is a high-speed bidirectional passive switch for mux or demux configurations. It is designed for USB Type-C applications, supporting switching among four differential signals such as "USB SuperSpeed + USB High Speed." Based on control pins SEL1 and SEL2, the device provides differential channel switching between Port A, Port B, or Port C and Port COM. FSW6820 is a general-purpose analog differential passive switch suitable for any high-speed interface application requiring a common-mode voltage range of 0 to 2 V and differential signal amplitudes up to 1800 mVpp. It employs adaptive tracking technology to ensure consistent channel characteristics across the entire common-mode voltage range. The device's excellent dynamic performance enables high-speed switching with minimal eye diagram degradation and ultra-low added jitter. Operating power consumption is below 2 mW, with a shutdown mode enabled via the EN pin, reducing shutdown power consumption to below 20 µW.
