GBI1600TKBR

GBI1600 is a 60V, 1A step-down converter with an integrated 542mΩ high-side MOSFET. The device features a wide input voltage range of 4V to 60V, suitable for various applications powered by unregulated supplies, such as industrial or automotive applications. The device employs peak current mode control with a fixed 600kHz switching frequency to minimize external component count. GBI1600 has an internal soft-start time of 5ms. The device draws 80uA quiescent current in sleep mode and 1uA shutdown current, making it well-suited for battery-powered systems. The device integrates protection features including cycle-by-cycle current limiting, thermal shutdown, output overvoltage protection, and input undervoltage lockout. The device also supports monolithic startup under pre-biased output conditions. The EN pin is a high-voltage tolerant pin with a precise threshold, allowing adjustment of the input voltage lockout threshold via two external resistors to meet precise higher UVLO system requirements. Floating the EN pin enables the device. Connecting the EN pin directly to VIN enables automatic startup at power-up. The device is offered in a cost-effective TSOT23-6L package and a thermally enhanced eSOP-8L package.
