Overview
GC7660 is a monolithic DC/DC voltage converter IC fabricated in CMOS process. It provides voltage inversion, voltage doubling, voltage division, and multiplied voltage output. The device operates reliably over a supply voltage range of 1.5V to 5V with no external diodes required across the full temperature range. A 10mA output current is available at 0.5V dropout. The BOOST pin can boost the oscillator frequency above the audio band, reducing output ripple and lowering external capacitance requirements. The GC7660 features low quiescent current and high conversion efficiency, integrating an oscillator control circuit and four power MOSFET switches on-chip. Typical applications include negative voltage generation, voltage doubling, and input voltage halving.
