Overview

HM6233 is a constant-frequency current-mode boost converter designed for small, low-power applications. Its 1.2MHz switching frequency allows the use of miniature, low-cost capacitors and inductors with heights of 2mm or less. Internal soft-start reduces inrush current and extends battery life. The device features automatic switching to pulse frequency modulation mode under light load, and includes undervoltage lockout, current limiting, and thermal overload protection to prevent damage during output overload conditions. The HM6233 is available in a compact SOT23-5 package.
