HUSB304-01

HUSB304 is a USB port controller integrating common functions for USB Type-A ports. It embeds an N-channel MOSFET with an ultra-low on-resistance of 15 mΩ. The device is designed for 5V USB Type-A port applications requiring high-current switching. Its programmable current limiting feature allows easy fine-tuning of the current limit value via an external resistor. The controller monitors load current and indicates whether a load is connected to the USB Type-A port through its status output. HUSB304 simultaneously monitors output voltage and output current to provide overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, and overtemperature protection. HUSB304 integrates a voltage divider 3, USB DCP 1.2V mode, BC 1.2 DCP, and the Chinese telecommunications industry standard YD/T 1591-2009 protocol. It automatically detects connected devices and switches to the appropriate charging protocol. HUSB304 requires only 100 μA of operating current, helping to reduce standby power loss of the overall system.
