Overview

HX1316A-AGC is a high-voltage input synchronous buck regulator with constant current control. It operates over an input voltage range of 8V to 30V, delivering 4.5A continuous output current with excellent load and line regulation. Switching frequency is programmable from 130 kHz to 500 kHz, and the synchronous architecture enables high-efficiency designs. Current mode operation provides fast transient response and simplifies loop compensation design. The device requires a minimal number of standard external components. Additional features include cable compensation, programmable current limiting, and thermal shutdown protection.
