Overview

HX1346 is a wide input voltage range step-down DC/DC converter designed for high input voltage applications. It operates over an input voltage range of 8V to 30V, delivers 2A continuous output current, and offers excellent load and line regulation. The synchronous rectification architecture enables high-efficiency design. Constant-current and constant-voltage operating modes provide fast transient response and simplify loop stability design. The device features dual-channel CV/CC mode control, capable of operating in either constant output current mode or constant output voltage mode. The overcurrent protection threshold is set via a current sense resistor. HX1346 requires minimal external standard components. Additional features include cable voltage drop compensation and thermal shutdown protection. The converter is available in an industry-standard SOP-8L package.
