Overview
HX1356-AGN is a wide input range step-down DC/DC converter capable of operating from a high-voltage input supply. The device delivers 2.8A continuous output current over a wide input operating voltage range, with excellent load and line regulation. Its asynchronous architecture enables high-efficiency designs. Constant current and constant voltage mode operation provides fast transient response and simplifies loop stability design. The device features dual-channel CV/CC mode control, operating in either constant output current mode or constant output voltage mode. The overcurrent protection threshold is set via a current sense resistor. The device requires minimal external standard components. Additional features include cable voltage drop compensation and thermal shutdown protection. The HX1356-AGN converter is offered in an industry-standard SOP-8L package.
