Overview
ICL7660AIBAZ is a monolithic DC/DC voltage converter IC fabricated using CMOS technology. It supports voltage inversion, voltage doubling, voltage splitting, and multiple voltage output configurations. The device operates reliably over a supply range of 1.5V to 5V without requiring any external diodes across the full temperature range. It delivers 10mA of output current at a 0.5V voltage drop. The BOOST pin can be used to raise the oscillator frequency above the audio band, reducing output ripple and relaxing external capacitance requirements. The ICL7660AIBAZ combines low quiescent current with high conversion efficiency, integrating on-chip oscillator control circuitry and four power MOSFET switches. Typical applications include negative voltage generation, voltage doubling, and 1/2 input voltage division.
