ICW6215

The ICW6215 is a high-performance, cost-effective PWM controller power device designed for offline low-power buck applications, featuring simple peripheral circuitry and a minimal component count. The integrated high-voltage MOSFET in the startup module enhances the system's surge withstand capability. Unlike conventional PWM power switches, the ICW6215 does not use a fixed internal clock to drive the MOSFET; instead, the switching frequency automatically adjusts with load variations. The device employs multi-mode PWM control technology, which effectively simplifies peripheral circuit design, improves line and load regulation, and eliminates audible noise during operation. Furthermore, the internal peak current detection threshold automatically adjusts to actual load conditions, significantly reducing standby power consumption under no-load situations. The ICW6215 integrates comprehensive protection features with auto-recovery capability, including VDD undervoltage protection, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, output overvoltage protection, overtemperature protection, overload protection, and VDD overvoltage protection. The ICW6215 series is a multi-mode PWM controller power switch with integrated high-voltage startup and supply functions. This product series supports offline non-isolated buck and buck-boost topologies, making it suitable for small appliance power supplies and linear power supply replacement applications. In addition, the ICW6215 features high output accuracy and low peripheral component cost.
