Overview

The ISO7142CC-Q1 device provides current isolation of up to 2500 VRMS for up to 1 minute, compliant with UL 1577 standards, and 4242 VPK isolation compliant with VDEV 0884-10 standards. The ISO7142CC-Q1 is a four-channel isolator with two forward and two reverse channels. The maximum data transfer rate of this device is 50 Mbps when powered by a 5V supply, and 40 Mbps when powered by a 3.3V or 2.7V supply. The input of the ISO7142CC-Q1 device integrates a filter, making it suitable for applications susceptible to noise interference. Each isolation channel has a logic input and output buffer separated by a silicon dioxide (SiO₂) insulation barrier. When used with an isolated power supply, this device prevents noise currents on the data bus or other circuits from entering the local ground and interfering with or damaging sensitive circuits. The device has transistor-transistor logic (TTL) input thresholds and can operate when powered by 2.7V, 3.3V, and 5V voltages.
