Overview
JW3651 is a high-performance buck-boost converter with an output voltage programmable via external resistors over a range of 0.9V to 20V. The device uses a single-inductor architecture to achieve buck-boost conversion, operating when the input voltage is higher than, lower than, or equal to the output voltage, and supports 2-switch boost mode for higher efficiency. Integrated low Rds(on) MOSFETs reduce physical size, improve efficiency, and lower power dissipation. Constant-current control protects the device from overshoot under fault conditions. Built-in loop compensation simplifies the circuit and design. The device ensures robustness through UVLO, short-circuit protection, and thermal protection.
