Overview

JW5121 is a current-mode monolithic step-down switching regulator. It operates over an input voltage range of 4.5V to 60V, delivering 2A continuous output current via an integrated high-side N-channel MOSFET. Under light load, the regulator operates at reduced frequency to maintain high efficiency and low output ripple. Current-mode control provides tight load transient response and cycle-by-cycle current limiting. JW5121 ensures robustness through short-circuit protection, thermal protection, current runaway protection, and input undervoltage lockout.
