Overview
JW5359M and JW5359FM are synchronous buck switching regulators based on the I2 architecture with fast transient response capability. They operate over an input voltage range of 4.5V to 18V and deliver 2A continuous output current via two internally integrated N-channel MOSFETs. The internal synchronous power switches achieve high efficiency, eliminating the need for an external Schottky diode. Under light-load conditions, the JW5359M operates at reduced frequency to maintain high efficiency. These devices provide robustness through output short-circuit protection, thermal protection, current runaway protection, and input undervoltage lockout. Offered in a SOT23-6 package, they require minimal external components for a compact solution.
