The KP106X series is a highly integrated constant-current LED power switch. The chip employs a quasi-resonant operating mode combined with active power factor correction (PFC) control technology to achieve high power factor, low harmonic distortion, and high efficiency. The KP106X integrates a 650V high-voltage power MOSFET along with high-voltage startup and power supply circuits, simplifying system design and reducing production costs. By sampling the inductor current over the full cycle, the chip delivers ultra-high-precision constant-current output with excellent line voltage and load regulation performance. The KP106X incorporates comprehensive protection features to ensure safe and reliable system operation, including: VDD undervoltage lockout (UVLO), cycle-by-cycle overcurrent protection (OCP), overtemperature protection (OTP), output overvoltage protection (OVP), and LED open-circuit and short-circuit protection.
