The KP106XC series is a highly integrated constant-current LED power switch operating in quasi-resonant mode, combined with active power factor correction (PFC) control technology to achieve high power factor, low harmonic distortion, and high efficiency. The KP106XC integrates a high-voltage 500V power MOSFET along with high-voltage startup and supply circuitry, simplifying system design and reducing production costs. By sampling the inductor current over the full cycle, the IC delivers ultra-high-accuracy constant-current output with excellent line and load regulation performance. The KP106XC incorporates comprehensive protection features to ensure safe and reliable system operation, including: VDD undervoltage lockout (UVLO), cycle-by-cycle overcurrent protection (OCP), overtemperature protection (OTP), output overvoltage protection (OVP), and LED open-circuit and short-circuit protection.
