The KP116X series are highly integrated constant-current LED power switches operating in quasi-resonant mode, incorporating active power factor correction control technology to meet requirements for high power factor, low harmonic distortion, and high efficiency. The KP116X integrates a 650V high-voltage power MOSFET along with high-voltage startup and high-voltage supply circuits, simplifying system design and reducing production costs. By performing full-cycle sampling of the inductor current during the freewheeling period, the device achieves ultra-high precision constant-current output with excellent line voltage and load regulation performance. The KP116X incorporates comprehensive protection features to ensure safe and reliable system operation, including: VDD undervoltage lockout (UVLO), cycle-by-cycle overcurrent protection (OCP), overtemperature protection (OTP), output overvoltage protection (OVP), and LED open-circuit and short-circuit protection.
