The KP119X series are highly integrated primary-side control, constant-current mode LED power switches operating in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM), designed for isolated flyback LED constant-current power supplies. The KP119X integrates an internal 650V power MOSFET and a high-voltage self-supply circuit, employing a patented demagnetization detection technique that eliminates the need for an auxiliary winding for demagnetization detection and power supply, thereby simplifying system design and reducing production costs. The IC integrates a high-precision inductor current sampling circuit, enabling high-accuracy constant-current output with excellent line voltage and load regulation. The KP119X incorporates comprehensive protection features to ensure safe and reliable system operation, including: VDD under-voltage lockout (UVLO), cycle-by-cycle current limiting (OCP), over-temperature protection (OTP), output over-voltage protection (OVP), and LED open-circuit and short-circuit protection.
