The KP122X series are highly integrated constant-current LED power switches. These ICs operate in quasi-resonant mode and incorporate active power factor correction control technology to meet the requirements of high power factor, low harmonic distortion, and high efficiency. The KP122X integrates demagnetization signal detection technology, along with a high-voltage MOSFET and power supply circuitry, eliminating the need for an auxiliary winding for demagnetization detection and power supply, thereby simplifying system design and reducing production costs. The IC integrates high-precision inductor current sampling technology and a high-accuracy current comparator reference threshold voltage, as well as line voltage compensation technology, delivering excellent constant-current output characteristics. The KP122X also incorporates a proprietary dimming technology that provides superior TRIAC dimming performance. The KP122X integrates comprehensive protection features to ensure safe and reliable system operation, including: VDD undervoltage lockout (UVLO), cycle-by-cycle current limiting (OCP), overtemperature protection (OTP), output overvoltage protection (OVP), and LED open-circuit and short-circuit protection.
