Overview

KP18106WPA is a high PF, high-efficiency linear constant-current LED driver IC. It employs linear constant-current technology to precisely set the LED string current via an external resistor. The IC meets the IEC-61000-3-2:2018 specification requirements. The system offers excellent line regulation, requires minimal peripheral components with no magnetic elements, meets EMI requirements, and achieves compact size and long lifespan, significantly reducing system cost. The KP18106WPA integrates an OTP function — when the die temperature is too high, the system reduces the output current to ensure safe and reliable operation.
