LM2576S-5.0

The LM2576S series are easy-to-use fixed and adjustable step-down switching regulators. The series offers fixed output voltage versions (3.3V, 5V) as well as an adjustable output voltage version. Both versions can drive 2A loads with excellent line and load regulation. Requiring only a minimum of external components, these regulators are simple to use and incorporate internal frequency compensation and a fixed-frequency oscillator. Output voltage is guaranteed to within ±3% tolerance under specified input voltage and output load conditions. Oscillator frequency is guaranteed to within ±15% tolerance. An external shutdown function is included, with a typical standby current of 80μA. Self-protection features include a two-stage frequency-reducing current limit for the output switch, as well as thermal shutdown to provide complete protection under fault conditions.
