LM2596S-3.3

The LM2596-xx series is a DC/DC step-down switching converter controlled by a fixed-frequency 170kHz PWM. It mainly consists of internal frequency compensation, fixed-frequency oscillator, built-in overcurrent protection, and power switch control circuits. Capable of driving 3A loads, it offers high efficiency, low ripple, and excellent line and load regulation. Only a minimal number of external components are required to implement DC/DC step-down voltage regulation, making it simple and practical. The PWM control circuit can linearly adjust the duty cycle from 0 to 100%. It supports external enable control. When overcurrent occurs, a built-in secondary overcurrent protection module activates, reducing the PWM frequency from 170kHz to 50kHz.
