LM2596S-3.3(HX)

LM2596/LM2596HV is a 150KHz fixed-frequency PWM DC-DC regulated power converter. It features 3A output current drive capability with high efficiency, low ripple, high line regulation, and load regulation. The device operates in PWM modulation mode, enabling linear duty cycle adjustment from 0 to 100%. The LM2596/LM2596HV integrates a fixed-frequency oscillator and frequency compensation module, making it extremely easy to use with minimal external components. Additionally, the device incorporates enable with hysteresis, over-temperature protection, overcurrent protection, and secondary overcurrent protection. When secondary overcurrent protection is triggered, the built-in frequency reduction function decreases the operating frequency from 150KHz to 50KHz. The LM2596/LM2596HV is a step-down regulated DC power converter, primarily designed to convert high-voltage DC with significant noise and ripple into a low-voltage, low-ripple, low-noise regulated DC output. The LM2596/LM2596HV is available in five versions, differentiated by output voltage: 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V, and an adjustable output voltage version. On-chip over-temperature protection and current limiting protection are also provided.
