LM2596S-3.3-HXY

The LM2596S series are easy-to-use fixed and adjustable step-down switching regulators. The devices are available in 3.3V, 5V, 12V fixed output voltage versions and an adjustable output version. Both versions can drive 3.5A loads with excellent line and load regulation. These regulators require minimal external components, are simple to use, and incorporate internal frequency compensation and a fixed-frequency oscillator. Output voltage is guaranteed to within ±3% tolerance under specified input voltage and output load conditions. Oscillator frequency is guaranteed to within ±15%. The devices include an external shutdown function with a typical standby current of 80 μA. Self-protection features include two-stage frequency-reducing current limiting for the output switch and over-temperature shutdown, providing comprehensive protection under fault conditions.
