LMR16030PDDAR

The LMR16030 is a 60V, 3A SIMPLE SWITCHER step-down regulator with an integrated high-side MOSFET. With a wide input voltage range of 4.3V to 60V, the device is suitable for regulating unregulated power supplies across a variety of applications from industrial to automotive. The regulator consumes only 40µA of quiescent current in sleep mode, making it ideal for battery-powered systems. An ultra-low shutdown current of 1µA further extends battery life. The wide adjustable switching frequency range allows optimization of either efficiency or external component size. Internal loop compensation eliminates the tedious task of designing loop compensation components and minimizes the number of external components. A precision enable input simplifies regulator control and system power sequencing. In addition, the device integrates multiple protection features including cycle-by-cycle current limiting, thermal sensing and thermal shutdown for excessive power dissipation, and output overvoltage protection. The LMR16030 is available in an exposed-pad 8-pin HSOIC package for low thermal resistance.
