LMR36503 is an ultra-compact 65V, 0.3A synchronous DC/DC buck converter in a 2mm x 2mm HotRod package. This easy-to-use converter handles input voltage transients up to 70V, delivers excellent EMI performance, and supports a fixed 5V output as well as other adjustable output voltages. This transient tolerance reduces the design effort required to protect against input overvoltage and meets the surge immunity requirements of IEC 61000-4-5. The LMR36503 employs a peak current mode control architecture with internal compensation to maintain stable operation and minimize output capacitance. By selecting an appropriate resistor between the RT pin and ground, the LMR36503 supports external programming of the switching frequency from 200kHz to 2.2MHz. The precision EN/UVLO feature enables precise control over device startup and shutdown. A power-good flag with built-in glitch filter and deglitch release provides a true indication of system status, eliminating the need for an external supervisor. The LMR36503's compact solution size and rich feature set simplify implementation across a wide range of industrial applications.
