Overview

LMR50410-Q1 is a simple, easy-to-use wide input voltage synchronous buck converter capable of driving load currents up to 1A. The device features a wide input range of 4V to 36V, making it suitable for a variety of automotive applications requiring power regulation from unregulated sources. The LMR50410-Q1 operates at a switching frequency of 2.1MHz, enabling the use of relatively small inductors for an optimized solution size. It is available in a PFM version for high efficiency at light loads and an FPWM version for constant frequency operation with low output voltage ripple across the full load range. Soft-start and compensation circuits are implemented internally to minimize the number of external components required. The device features built-in protection functions, including cycle-by-cycle current limiting, discontinuous mode short-circuit protection, and thermal shutdown under excessive power dissipation conditions. The LMR50410-Q1 is available in a SOT-23-6 package.
