Overview

LN2266 is a miniature, high-efficiency boost DC/DC regulator. The circuit consists of a current-mode PWM control loop, error amplifier, ramp generation circuit, comparator, and a power switch. This IC operates efficiently and stably across a wide load range. The sub-1V startup voltage allows operation from 1–4 battery cells. When powered by a lithium battery, it can deliver up to 1100mA output current. A quiescent current of 17uA and conversion efficiency of up to 90% effectively extend battery life. The output voltage is set by two external resistors. An integrated 2.5A power switch is built in.
