Overview
LP6210 is a CMOS boost DC/DC controller comprising a voltage reference, oscillator circuit, error amplifier, phase compensation circuit, and PWM/PFM switching control circuit. By using an external low on-resistance N-channel power MOSFET, it is suitable for applications requiring high efficiency and high output current. Through the PWM/PFM switching control circuit, when the load is light, the operating mode switches to PFM control with a duty cycle of 13%, preventing efficiency degradation caused by the IC's operating current.
