Overview

The LT8627SP synchronous step-down regulator employs third-generation Silent Switcher technology, specifically designed to combine an ultra-low noise reference with the Silent Switcher architecture for high efficiency and outstanding broadband noise performance. The innovative ultra-low noise architecture delivers superior low-frequency (0.1Hz to 100kHz) output noise performance in a switching regulator. Output voltage is programmable with a single resistor, making output noise virtually independent of output voltage. The Silent Switcher architecture minimizes EMI radiation while achieving high efficiency at high switching frequencies. An exposed die on top of the package allows optional heatsink attachment for significantly improved thermal performance. The LT8627SP is ideal for high-current, noise-sensitive applications that can benefit from the high efficiency of a synchronous switching regulator.
