Overview
LX4004A is a capacitive voltage doubler circuit that delivers a stable 5V output voltage from an input voltage range of 2.7V to 4.5V, with a maximum output current of 230mA. It features thermal protection and short-circuit protection — when the circuit overheats or a short circuit occurs, the voltage doubling output is disabled. A shutdown enable pin is provided; when SD is pulled to ground, the OUT output is shut down, with a shutdown current of less than 1uA.
