Overview
This series consists of cost-effective system power supply monitoring circuits designed to monitor power supplies in digital systems. They provide power supply monitoring circuits that generate reset outputs under power-up, power-down, and undervoltage conditions. The reset output remains active with VCC as low as 1V. An independent watchdog monitoring circuit is also provided. If the watchdog input is not triggered within 1.6 seconds, the circuit will be activated. In addition, a 1.25V threshold detector is included for power failure warning, low battery detection, or monitoring an additional power supply. A debounced, active-low manual reset input is also included. The device provides an active-high reset output as an alternative to the watchdog timer. The device provides a RESET output instead of a RESET output. All versions are available in a compact SOP-8 package.
