Overview
MBD9G101G-TR is a monolithic step-down switch-mode converter with an integrated power MOSFET. It delivers up to 600mA output current over a wide input voltage range with excellent load and line regulation. Under light-load conditions, the regulator operates at reduced frequency to maintain high efficiency and low output ripple. The minimum input voltage is as low as 4.5V, with a maximum of 60V, and it can withstand even higher transient voltages. Fault protection features include cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown. The MBD9G101G-TR requires minimal external components that are readily available. The device is available in a SOT23-6 package.
