Overview
The MC34063 series is a monolithic control circuit that integrates the primary functions required for DC-DC converters. The device incorporates an internal temperature-compensated reference, a comparator, a controlled duty cycle oscillator with an active current limiting circuit, a driver, and a high-current output switch. This series is designed for buck, boost, and voltage inverting applications with a minimum number of external components.
