ME2169 is a CMOS boost DC/DC controller comprising a reference voltage source, oscillator circuit, error amplifier, phase compensation circuit, current limiting circuit, and PWM/PFM control circuit. By utilizing an external enhancement-mode N-channel power MOSFET with low on-resistance, it is well suited for applications requiring high efficiency and high output current. In addition, output current limiting can be achieved by connecting a current sensing resistor (RSENSE) to the VSENSE pin. Since the current sensing voltage (VSENSE) is set to 100mV ± 10%, power dissipation across RSENSE is minimized. The ME2169 supports ceramic capacitors for the external output capacitor. Furthermore, its compact SOT23-6 package makes it ideal for high-density mounting applications requiring high precision and high efficiency.
