Overview
ME2199 is a 1MHz boost DC-DC controller that employs an external N-channel power MOSFET with low on-resistance, making it suitable for applications requiring high efficiency and high output current. The device supports both constant voltage (CV) and constant current (CC) output modes, configurable via the external current sense resistor (RSENSE) and FB voltage divider resistors (RFB1, RFB2). In CV mode, the FB pin voltage VFB is 1.25V (typical); the maximum output current can be set by connecting a current sense resistor to the VSENSE pin. In CC mode, the VSENSE pin voltage is regulated to a constant 100mV (typical), and the output current is set by adjusting the sense resistor (RSENSE) connected to VSENSE. In addition, the device integrates enable shutdown, undervoltage lockout (UVLO), and soft-start protection circuits.
