Overview

ME3118 is a simple, high-efficiency synchronous rectified buck regulator with a maximum output current of 5A. The input voltage range spans from 4.5V to 18V, supporting a maximum output current of 5A and output voltage as low as 0.8V. The device is available in an ESOP8 package with an exposed thermal pad, operating over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. ME3118 is a current-mode synchronous rectified buck regulator featuring a high-side PMOS and a low-side NMOS. Key functions include enable control, power shutdown, undervoltage protection, output overvoltage protection, thermal protection, and external soft-start.
