Overview
The MP2457GJ-MS is a high-efficiency synchronous step-down DC/DC regulator. Its wide input voltage range makes it suitable for a broad range of applications, such as power regulation from unregulated power supplies. It features internal switches with low RDS(ON) (typical 250mΩ/150mΩ) to achieve maximum efficiency (typical 92%). PSM mode is supported, with a fixed operating frequency of 800kHz, allowing the use of small external components while maintaining low output voltage ripple. With overvoltage protection, the IC can withstand input voltages up to 42V. The MP2457GJ-MS supports 1.2A continuous output current with a 0.8V nominal feedback voltage. Additional features include thermal shutdown, input voltage UVLO, and gate drive UVLO. The MP2457GJ-MS is available in a thin SOT-23-6 package.
